Welcome to the central hub for all things blogged by David Pickering.

A  bit about the author.
David James Pickering

From a business perspective David currently works for Pitney Bowes, a Fortune 500 company known originally for it's franking machines but more and more today for it's powerhouse of software solutions, including cutting edge predictive analytics, location intelligence and omnichannel communication management.
David works to grow the business through a combination of new contract acquisition, PR related opportunities and thought leadership through online channels such as social media.

Having received a qualification from the Social Media University in the States David has led the social media strategy within his core vertical of financial services and helped many major banks, investment groups and building societies increase their revenue and return on investment while facilitating greater customer relationships through the adoption of modern technology and a streamlining of internal operational processes.

On a personal level David is a keen author of fiction and science fiction having written novellas and novels, some of which can be found here.

David enjoys surfing is obsessed with science, physics in particular, his dog Mr. Fry and eternally content with his beautiful wife Karen Pickering; a fantastic artist and model.
